These terms describe how you may use SiteOpens today.They are written in plain language.

What SiteOpens is

SiteOpens is a web service that watches public reservation systems — starting with Recreation.gov — for a matching opening, then alerts you. That opening can be a release or a cancellation. You complete any reservation yourself on the official booking site.

What SiteOpens is not

SiteOpens does not book, hold, add to cart, or check out on your behalf. We do not guarantee that a site or permit will still be available when you try to reserve it. Openings are unpredictable.

SiteOpens is not affiliated with Recreation.gov, Parks Canada, state park systems, Find A Spring, or the U.S. or Canadian governments.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own Recreation.gov (or other official) account, payment, and compliance with that site’s rules. Do not use SiteOpens to harass others, attack our systems, or impersonate SiteOpens.

Alerts and accuracy

Alerts mean we detected a matching opening at the time we checked. A site can be taken before you arrive at checkout. We may pause alerts or the service for maintenance, errors, or abuse.

Your data

We will never sell or share your personal information. We use it only to run the alerts and account you asked for. The Privacy page is the full policy.

Accounts and paid plans

A 14-day trial covers email for one campground.Then that plan is $5 a month.Run is $10 a month for up to 10 places.Text alerts are included on Run.A card is required to start the trial.One trial per person.Manage plan handles your card, invoices, and cancel.

Limitation of liability

SiteOpens is provided as-is. We are not liable for missed trips, failed reservations, or damages that arise because an opening was rebooked, a check failed, or you did not receive an alert. Outdoor travel remains your decision and risk.

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the current version.
