Privacy

Your data is yours. SiteOpens uses it only to run the alerts and account you asked for. We will never sell it. We will never share it with anyone so they can market to you, train their products, or build a list.

The public marketing site can be used without creating an account. Visiting the site creates ordinary technical logs (such as IP address, browser, and pages requested) so the site can load and stay secure.

We collect the email address you provide to create an account and to send watch alerts you requested. A text alert uses the mobile number you add in Settings, after you turn text alerts on. We do not collect or store your Recreation.gov password — you book on the official site yourself.

We use contact details to deliver alerts and account messages you asked for, to operate and secure the service, and to prevent abuse. That is the whole list.

We will never sell, rent, trade, or give your email, phone number, watches, or other account data to advertisers, data brokers, or other companies for their own use.

Optional trip links we may show after an alert are just links. We will never send your name, email, or phone to those businesses unless you choose to contact them yourself.

We may disclose information if a court or law requires it. A marketing deal is not a legal requirement, and we will never treat it as one.

Companies we hire to host the site or send an email or text you requested may process only what they need to do that job. They do not get a customer list, and they may not use SiteOpens data for their own advertising or products. If a company cannot accept that limit, we will not use them for personal data. That is not a sale, and it is not sharing your data for someone else’s use.

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the service. Account and watch data will be retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymized when you close it, except where we must keep records (for example, billing or a lawful request).

You can stop using the site, sign out, change your password, or pause or stop alerts at any time. Turn text alerts on or off in Settings.

SiteOpens is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13.

We may update this page as the product changes. The date at the top is the current version. We will never use a policy change to start selling or sharing personal information.
